Everyone loves Empenadas and here is your chance to learn how to make your very own Empanadas. This is a hands on class where you will learn from Maricel how to make a simple and tasty empanada dough as well as several delicious fillings. We will start with two simple doughs, one for fried empenadas and the other for baked emepnadas. We will then move on to the fillings for Chicken Empanadas, Pulled Pork Empanadas, and a Filipino Empanada. We will finish the class with a dessert Empanada. All Maricel’s Kitchen classes finish with a sit down meal of what you created.
Empanadas originated in Spain and are now found in countries around the world – including Asia. They are perfect for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or as a snack. Sweet Empanadas are even perfect for dessert. With their versatility, no wonder they are such a favorite around the world.
