Event Details

Eastern European cuisine comprises a rich tapestry of ethnic cuisines from many cultures, languages, and histories.  In this workshop, the Centre’s gardener and chef work together to share their knowledge of Eastern European food culture.

You’ll learn about the main ingredients in Eastern European cooking and how to grow the many vegetables, herbs and spices in your own garden.  You’ll also learn about the benefits of growing your own produce.  Our presenters will also demonstrate some wonderful Eastern European dishes to inspire you to cook your own.

Our presenters will also demonstrate and discuss practical ways to avoid and reduce food and packaging waste and how to recycle unavoidable packaging.

These sustainable workshops are funded by Campbelltown City Council with the goal of increasing environmental stewardship within the Campbelltown community.
