Fermentation and pickling is not only good for our gut health, it is a great way to store your harvest for use later in the year. This workshop is hands on and will show you the process’ of fermentation and how to do it step by step. Take homes:

  • What foods ferment & pickle well and samples of them
  • The basic equipment you’ll need
  • The key steps in a few different processes
  • Workshop notes

This workshop is one of the ‘Grow – Cook – Connect’ series, happening February to April at Perth City Farm. The series covers the skills you need to grow and enjoy your own food, and connect with other people interested in living healthy, sustainable lives.

The workshops are perfect for Perth residents keen to start gardening, particularly if you live close to Perth City Farm and would like to meet like-minded neighbours.

These workshops are kindly supported by the City of Perth.
