Class Description:
Get ready for picnicking! In this hands-on cooking class, students will learn how to make recipes that are perfect for traveling in a basket. Kids will practice hands-on cooking, kitchen safety, and valuable teamwork. Once the cooking portion of class is complete, everyone will munch on their creations over a blanket while sharing fun outdoor stories together. Reserve your child’s spot today.

Teacher Bio:
Haynes Altobello is a kindergarten teacher and after-school cooking club instructor at the J.R. Lowell Elementary school in Watertown, MA. Her passion for teaching and her love of cooking (and eating!) has led her to ChopChop Family, the publisher of ChopChop The Fun Cooking Magazine for Families. Haynes believes in developing children’s food literacy and cooking competencies to empower them to become adventurous eaters and creative cooks. In addition to teaching and cooking, Haynes enjoys gardening and antiquing.
