With WEST Certified Kristen Valenza, Living Roots Food & Floral

Enjoy the best of The Bay with local crab, salmon, shrimp, mussels, and clams, in a wonderful stew-based broth. Kristen will teach you how to make this traditional stew in a step-by-step process in this interactive hands-on cooking class.

Cioppino originated in San Francisco in the late 1800’s by Italian immigrants who moved to the North Beach area. The name of the dish comes from ciuppin which is the name of a classic soup from the Italian region Liguria, similar in flavor to cioppino but with less tomato and different types of seafood.

This classic American-Italian dish will be served with fresh garlic bead, and paired with an Italian wine.
