Have you ever wanted to prepare your own complete delicious Indian meal? Maybe you are looking to add more vegetarian food into your meals?
REALIZE YOUR DREAM BY BECOMING YOUR OWN INDIAN CHEF!! The 4-part series of basic Indian cooking classes are hands-on, informative and interactive. You will learn dishes that are rooted in India’s age-old culinary traditions yet adapted to today’s kitchen and lifestyle.
We will begin with the essentials, and slowly move up to a point where you will be confident enough to throw in a pinch of this and a dash of that. Through this series, you will see that once you know the bare minimum, the rest from then on is smooth sailing.
Each week we will explore one of the foundational elements that builds a whole Indian meal. Starting from lentils/dal. A staple source of protein for Indian diet. Imagine a whole evening dedicated to exploring different kinds of lentils using locally grown vegetables and healing spices of India. Making your own curry using fresh ingredients and spices, learn to make your own Indian bread (naanroti-paratha) and ending with the popular Indian street foods/appetizers.
We will connect again with your queries and delve into another new and interesting aspect of Indian food. The 4 part series will be an enriching experience and build your culinary foundation in Indian cuisine.
